Y'know, I've been meaning to write an entry for at least a week or more. And it's come to the point where it's like, I better hurry up and get to it! The list of things I wanna write about just keeps on growing! So here we...go!
First off, I can't believe I almost forgot this but...today's a Monkeeversary!! On September 12th, 1966, the first Monkees episode aired!! Waaahooo!! And how convenient that it comes so close to...THE DAVY CONCERT THAT'S COMING UP!! :D :D :D *throws confetti*
Well, about a couple of weeks ago, we went to that faaaaabulous local steakhouse that I love so much! It was delicious! After that, we drove around town a bit, and Daddy showed us where his gramma (our great-gramma), and Mama used to live! That was cool to see. Then, we went bowling, and Sis and I played the most games I think we ever have! On the 2nd game, my score was alarmingly good (for me!), so I was pretty happy about that.
We played plenty of music too, so we made up for that last time when that idiot woman played a toilet full of songs just so she could make a fool of her highly DRUNK self. I hadn't heard Black Betty in ages, so I had play that...hehe. Toxic, We Will Rock You, Disturbia, Don't Stop 'Til Ya Get Enough, and Smooth Criminal were some other songs on our little bowling playlist. :)
Went to see Mirrors that night, and it was pretty okay. Very creepy though, especially...
( MAJOR SPOILER AHEAD! )
Sis and I went to see Dark Knight...AGAIN! We went on Labor Day, and it was so fun! There were more ppl there this time, and these little boys in front of us were very lively, hehe. After that, we rode around town a bit, then went to Wal-green's and Wal-mart. On the way back to the house, the main road we use to get there was blocked. So we took a detour that turned out to be alot more complicated than we originally thought it would be, haha. When we came back, A Knight's Tale was on! Especially after some stress caused from said detour (lol), watching some bits of that was just what I needed! :)
After many, many attempts by me, Daddy, and Sis, Daddy was finally able to get that Curious George doll for me out of the crane machine at Wal-mart! That took place about 2 weeks ago as well, I think. I was so happy, lol. For months they didn't even have another one in there, and Daddy got the FIRST one they put in after a hiatus!
Sat. before this past one (the 30th), Sis and I attempted to see Dark Knight again, but didn't quite make it. But we still had a fun night. We went with Daddy and his friend to that yummy local seafood place, and Sis had some funny jokes ready by the time his friend pulled up in the yard good, hehe. She has fun giving him a hard time, just like Daddy does, but it's all in good fun, haha. After that, Sis and I stopped by Target, then Texas Steakhouse for dessert. We had these DELICIOUS mouth-watering melted hershey bar brownie sundaes. OMG...all I can say is just...wow! 'Twas so good that I need to stop talking about it, esp. while hungry, lol! Ambled around Wal-mart a bit after that, hehe.
That weekend, we went to see the Rocker. Much better than we thought it'd be. SUPER funny, and that Teddy Geiger is such a cutie. ;) His eyes are just...whoa! :D Read a nice story about him a few years back, so apparently he's a sweetie too, so that's even better! Oh yeah...and a musician!! Whoo!
Speaking of "rockers", I gotta gush about Johnny rocking out with his old band on Aug. 29-30th! This is now the SECOND time he's done this, and this time, there were TWO days' worth of concerts! So happy to see him having so much fun with his buddies again, doing something else he loves (and is incredibly talented at, as well)!
( Johnny pics, additional stuff about what's been goin' on, and bunches more below )

Lots of nifty, fun, super groovy, dyno things have taken place since my last entry. Aaaaaaaaand...here's the scoop on 'em!
Firstlyyyyy, Sis and I went to see Dark Knight again! It was sooo awesome, just like the first time! I picked up little odds and ends that I may have missed the first go round, and of course, enjoyed all the Joker antics the second time 'round! :)
( Spoilers possibly...again! )
Other than that, the audience wasn't AS lively as the first time, but then again, it can't really be expected after the movie's been out this long.
Daddy dropped us off at the movies, and while we watched TDK, he ate at that nice buffet the 3 of us went to a few weeks ago. It's the one RIGHT at the theater, so it was really convenient. Then, he went to our uncle's house (my gramma's brother) to work on his computer. He lives right in town, so that too worked out really well. All we had to do was call when the credits were rolling, and he was there in a flash! He cooked those DELICIOUS homemade Big Macs for us when we got back. :D
Went to Western Sizzlin' this past Wed., and it was really good! My steak was cooked to perfection! Went out for Chinese last Friday, and that was yummy too! Oh, and Thurs. (this week), I stayed outside a good portion of the day, riding my scooter. It was soooo fun! I was pretty thirsty when I came in, and decided to try something new in the beverage department. It was this Crystal Light powder (only 10 calories!) that was lemonade-flavored. You shake it up in a bottle of water, and TADA! You got a low calorie drink, with NO sugar, that tastes JUST LIKE lemonade! I haven't had lemonade in ages, so to be able to have something similar AND "guilt-free" was a real treat!
Hmmmmm...we've also seen some other really great movies in the past 2 weeks. First was Pineapple Express, which was HILARIOUS! It was ALOT funnier than I thought it'd be. I was a little leery, b/c I typically don't dig the Seth Rogen movies like Superbad and Knocked Up. And PE had been compared to those. But, I had been looking forward to seeing James F.'s comedic skills, so I had to see it. And wow, he DID NOT disappoint! He was hilarious, and yes, even hot as a grungy stoner, lol. The whole movie was a riot! So many fave parts that I naturally can't remember. It must be noted that it's the FIRST movie I've seen where I was actually able to concentrate more and not have my mind wandering to thoughts of TDK, lol. HOWEVER, when it was over, Sis and I did take a peek of TDK...hehe. And Mr. J just happened to be on! :)
The son of one of Daddy's friends, and the guy's g/f (mentioned here, in the last paragraph) joined us for PE! So that was neat. We actually bumped into them, along with his dad, the week we went to see X-files. So apparently their movie night is the same as our's sometimes! I think we saw them ANOTHER time in addition to the X-Files trip! And this time, it just worked out for us to meet on purpose, lol.
This past weekend, we saw ANOTHER hilarious flick, Tropic Thunder! OMG, it was a laugh a minute! Now this one I can remember more specific stuff that may or may not be spoilery, so I'll just lump it all together.
( More spoilers, and everythin' else that's been happenin' )

So I meant to make this post like, 2 weeks ago...as you can tell by the length, lol. But as usual, alot of the length is spoiler spacing. ;)
Lessee, I added 2 new things to my user info. And if you haven't seen it in a reaaaaally long time, well there's even more new stuff than that! So IF you want, you can check it out. :)
It's been so long I don't even know where to start! Hope you're able to follow, cuz this'll def. bounce around alot, haha! I wrote several sections of this on diff. days, lol.
To start this off, as of today, I have MY DAVY CONCERT TICKETS IN HAND!! They were accidentally sent to my uncle (lol), but we got 'em!! YAAAAHOOOOOO!!! I HAVE TICKETS TO SEE DAVY, FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 4 YEARS, IN A LITTLE OVER A MONTH FROM NOW!!!! :D
Last week, I got a MUCH-NEEDED haircut! I got about 6 inches cut off, but I'm not gonna lie, I wasn't 100% happy with it at first. The beautician got distracted with various things going on, so I think she lost track of what she was doing. She does that every time, but this time it caused her to get a bit scissor-happy, something she usually doesn't do. Usually she could stand to cut a little more off! But, it's growing on me though (no pun intended, hehe), but the ONE thing I ask for...I gotta interrupt this for a sec to mention that XM is now playing Carlisle Wheeling! OMG!! That's one of the more rare Monkee songs!
Okay, back to my story...so the one thing I ask for when I go to her is that I'm able to put it back in a ponytail. Well, although I'm able to (barely), there's short pieces on the underside that fall down! But anyhoo, like I said, I'm getting used to it. And the great thing about hair is that it grows back!
After Sis and I got our hair cut (she got a really cute bob cut!), we went to this new Chinese restaurant that has a Mongolian BBQ. You fill up your plate at the buffet with whatever you want, and they cook it FRESH, right in front of you! It's soooo yummy, and has a very cool setup!
The day before (last Wed.) our haircuts, we went to another delicious local buffet (it's actually beside the movie theater we usually go to) where they dip the food out for you. We all like that, cuz it's so much more sanitary. And they don't skimp on the food neither, b/c you get A PILE! You can get up to 3 plates and dessert, but I only could eat 2 (still more than I needed, but oh well, haha)! And the price is very reasonable! Y'know, it would be so cool if K&W was set up like that. I haven't been there in forever.
In other news, we went to go see The Dark Knight on the 20th. It...was...AWESOME!! I'm gonna put my more specific thoughts in with the spoilers, just 'cause it's easier and such.

Welp, as usual, I'm a day late and a dollar short. So, I cheated on the date, like always, haha. Wednesday, July 9th marks FIVE YEARS of being a Johnny/POTC fan! We went to see a 7ish showing of POTC on July 9th, 2003 (which was ON a Wednesday), and from the moment that Capt. Sparrow made his grand entrance on that sinking ship (lol), I was hooked on Johnny/Jack!

July already? NOOOOOO WAY!!! Here come the scoop, here come the scoop, here come the scoop...hehe.
Edit 7-8: Okay, I just found this funny little cartoon video saying how DMC "should" have ended, lol. I ESPECIALLY loved the part at the VERY end, after 2:10...ROFL!! (Hint: Even if you're not a POTC fan, you'll want to at least see that very last part if you're a Monkees one!)
On the 4th, we went out to eat at our fave local seafood place. There were fireworks going off in town, and Sis peeked through a window (along with some employees and customers) to see a few! I managed to get up there RIGHT when they were ending, lol. Oh well, it was cool.
After that, we got dessert at Micky D's and Arby's. I reaaaally wanted one of those DQ thin mint blizzards, but it was closed, so maybe next time! After that, we went bowling. The place was gonna close in an hour, so we just played one game. There was this ANNOYING woman in there who was making a fool of herself, acting drunk and/or high, AND she had a kid!
She was obviously trying to show off for the ppl in the next lane (poss. friends or something), and played a boatload of songs on the jukebox in there. I wouldn't have minded so much if she was a normal person, but it was so obvious that she more than likely was playing certain songs just so she could dance around and act stupid. Sis played that Chumbawamba song, and Light My Fire (of course!), but we never got to hear them. :( We kinda knew there was a risk of it not playing, so she didn't spend alot.
Wed., Thurs., AND Fri. I got to ride my scooter, which never happens 3 days in a row like that. Well, it hasn't in a while, anyway. 'Twas soooo fun! It was rainy all day Sat., so no scootering, BUT there were some fireworks going on later that night in the vicinity. Sis told me about them, so I stopped the Monkees eppy I was watching (The Spy Who Came In From the Cool, right before the Saturday's Child romp, hehe), and off we went, in search of the source of the fireworks, haha.
( More about the fireworks, funny happenings, a dream I had, and more! )

Okay, I am REALLY gonna shut it now, before I start sounding even more odd than I already am...teehee.

Welp, 'tis a long one, of course. Buuuuuut, alot of spacing is due to movie spoilers, if that helps, lol. Aaaaw, here it goes!
So last weekend, we went to see "The Incredible Hulk". It was awesome!! SOOO much better than the '03 version! Now don't get me wrong, I adore Eric Bana, and that movie did introduce me to him. BUT, the 03 movie itself was a great big pile of uuuuugh.
"Uuuuuugh" has a funny story behind it, actually...lol. Basically, Tim Roth's character was just walking into the room shirtless, and this woman goes, "Uuuugh!" really emphatically, like she was really grossed out! I mean, he was just normal-looking, not freaky or anything (at that point!)! It was soooo funny and random!!
I've told this story before I'm sure, but it's Hulk-related, so I'll tell it again. I was TERRIFIED of the Incredible Hulk in the TV series (y'know, from the late 70's-early 80's). This fear was SO bad that I BAWLED HYSTERICALLY just b/c Mr. Rogers showed a PICTURE of Lou Ferrigno in the Hulk get-up on his show! I was screaming bloody murder, let me tell ya. Mama thought I was seriously hurt or something, haha! I was probably about 5 or 6 or so. I had a hard time trusting Mr. Rogers after that, b/c his show was the one place I thought I could be safe from "the 'credible hulk" (as Daddy says I said it, lol).
Of course, once I got old enough, I enjoyed (and still enjoy) The Incredible Hulk show!
When I was 14, we actually SAW Lou Ferrigno in Cracker Barrel one day! Unf. Daddy wasn't with us that day, and he watched the show alot (hence how I became aware of the Hulk in the first place)! I still hate that Daddy didn't get to see him! It was a really cool moment! Needless to say, I was over my Hulk fear by then...LOL!
Okay, now that I've given my "Hulk History" (hehe), here's my fave parts of the new movie, some of which MIGHT be spoilery.
( Incredible Hulk spoilers, Get Smart spoilers, family outings and visits, etc... )

OMG...THEY JUST PLAYED THE MONKEES AND THE DOORS, BACK TO BACK, ON XM RADIO!!! "SHE HANGS OUT" (Monkees), THEN "TOUCH ME" (Doors)!! EEEEEE!! Cuz I mean, it's THE MONKEES, then THE DOORS...and "She Hangs Out" is something that usually doesn't play on here!!
Sorry for the outburst! But I had to share. My mouth dropped to the floor, cuz that just NEVER happens, man. Okay, back to your regularly scheduled lives...haha.
Uh waaaait...before I go, have you seen my JD birthday picspam yet? Ya don't have to, but you can if you want. If ya like it, you can take it, if you don't, send it right back...lol. Ron Burgundy quotes are fun. Anyhoo, if you HAVE seen the picspam already, then just ignore this blurb...and the whole outburst, if ya like. Haha!
( Ah heck, why don't I put some memes/surveys too while I'm at it...lol )

Awww, Nick sounds so young in this song...hehe. So cute. Anyhoo, you know me and my spur of the moment survey/meme posts (with little miscellaneous tidbits thrown in for good measure, from time to time). Welp, this is one of them. More than likely, my NEXT post will be...dun duna dun...THE BIG JOHNNY B-DAY PICSPAM POST!! Ah, I'm so excited...haha. His b-day falls on Raw night this year, how cool is that?! Okay, okay, enough chit-chat. Some of these are new, and some are old as dirt. You know how it goes.
( Meme/surveyness below, mateys )
And...I had to share this, even though it's not in the meme category. It has been TOO LONG since I've seen a JJ interview, esp. one AT DUKE! So yay for this video! BUT, boo on Realplayer 11 not downloading it, even though it's supposed to!! Grrrr! Oh well, that's what the favorites folder is for...haha. Maybe they won't take it off that site for awhile.
Last "real" entry is here, in the event you haven't read it and would like to. Aye, that'll about do it!

Weeeeella, it's that time again! Entry time! You know the drill, lots to tell, short as possible, and so on and so forth.
First off, let me state the obvious. I'm beyond THRILLED that Johnny won for Best Villain and Best Comedic Performance at the MTV Movie Awards!! AAAAAND The Rock was one of the presenters when he won the first one (for Comedic Performance)! Eeeeee! I'm totally geeking out over them sharing a stage!! My fave actor, and one of my fave wrestlers, interacting...beyond coolness!!
Very cool that another one of my fave actors, Brendan Fraser, presented Johnny the second one! And Brendan is so funny, btw. His antics on the red carpet, and the way he said Johnny's name, like, "Was there ever any doubt?!" Haha...so cool. He seemed genuinely happy that Johnny won. I love how everyone went so wild in the place when JD went up there. He more than deserves all the admiration, although I know it makes him so nervous up there like that, with all the yelling and stuff, hehe. Well, more nervous than he already is, haha.
Which brings me to my next (full of gushing, lol) point. You've heard it all before, but I tell you, the man never fails to take my breath away. He's so humble, so sweet, and so beeeeaautiful. His shyness is so cute and endearing. *sigh* Pics AND video below, as if you couldn't have already guessed, haha.

Okay, once again, this isn't a "real" entry, but the surveys are piling up in the ol' notepad again, cuz I take them faster than I actually post them...lol. So, here goes yet another "surveys only" post. As usual, I dunno when I'll get around to updating for real, BUT 'tis coming!
One thing's for sure...a picspam post is definitely on the horizon, cuz there's this beautiful, talented, amazing, sweet man turning 45 in a little less than 2 weeks. :D But I'm gonna try to also make a "life in general" post before then.
Also, I'm thisclose to getting a plus account. I know I've said that before, but I'm even closer to it now. I've been tinkering around with some stuff, and I think I may have figured out a way to at least have this same header, but in a new layout (I hope that's okay,
beatle!)!
Okay, now onto the surveyness!

OMG...I DID NOT know that Orlando's new movie (New York, I Love You...the one he's currently filming) is also HAYDEN'S new movie! Eeeeee!! I found this out while on imdb, looking for more info on that guy who plays Prince Caspian in the new Narnia movie. *whistles innocently*
Speaking of Hayden, that guy is Hayden's age...only younger by a few months. Pretty nifty. ;)
I never do this, btw ("this" being posting some random thought that just popped into my head). At least, not anymore. Of course, there was the time when Johnny appeared on the recent RS cover. So yeah, I guess I do it more than I think, haha. But not AS much.
In other randomness, I finally saw the episode that this icon is from just a few days ago. It was driving me nuts that I couldn't place which SB eppy it was from.
Aaaaaaand...next weekend is an ALL PIRATES weekend on Starz! They're gonna show P1 AND 2 over and over until the PREMIERE of P3! Then, they'll finish out the weekend with repeated showings of ALL 3!! Excited? You bet I am!! :D
Anyhoo, real entry coming...can't say soon, but it's coming, lol. For the last "real" one, tune in here, unless you've already read it. Or don't care to read it...lol. Either way, it's cool. Just thought I'd point it out in case you missed it and wanted to read it. :)

Yep, this song is me. :D
Oh yeah, I'm addicted to moving icons now (see current userpic). Moreso than before, haha. The word says it all. *thud*
This entry is gonna be stuffed to the gills, but as usual, I'm gonna try to make it short as possible. Been a busy time, and for the past few weeks, I haven't been getting on the comp as much. Hence the "no entries for 3 weeks" thing, haha.
Okay, starting with the recent and sliiiiding on back. We went to GC before the movies this week. We normally don't go out to eat before the movies, but we were in a hurry, and it was convenient, so we went. Although we were in a hurry, it was a very relaxed meal! I think the steak guy (not the one I went to school with, but the other one) actually put steaks on JUST for us (it was near closing, but not too near, and it wasn't busy). They were soooo delicious! 'Twas a wonderful meal.
After that, we headed off to see "Leatherheads". It was about how we expected it would be...no better, no worse. I just love that time period it was set in...the music, the clothes, the quality of life! And I couldn't help but think Johnny thoughts all during it (what's new?...lol), like how it reminded me of Public Enemies, cuz of the era it was set in and all. *sigh*
This past Friday, we went to this new Chinese place. It was really good, and had excellent service. We thought of going there again Sun. even, but it turned out they closed too early for us to do that. And I'll admit, after such a good time there Friday, I got kind of a bad taste (no pun intended, lol) in my mouth after I called the place for Sunday hours. I guess it's just that she doesn't know any better, being foreign and all, but you don't tell ppl to "come early, b/c they won't cook any more food" after a certain time. Yep, that's the response I got when I asked what time they closed. So now we know how they feel about those things. :/ Oh well, at least we had a good time there on Fri.! I probably hadn't been in the building it was in in over 11 years!
After we ate, Sis and I went to Burger King for an oreo sundae shake and cookie dough pie. I miss my york pies, lol. Oh well, I think next time I'm gonna get what Sis got (the CD pie) b/c the 2 times that I've had an oreo shake, it just wasn't as good as I thought it would be. I mean, it was delicious, don't get me wrong, but not the level I was thinking it would be. And hey, it's hard to beat those york pies...haha. So we'll see how the cookie dough one sizes up next time I go, lol...if they still got 'em, that is!
On Sat., there was this little bird in the garage, and Daddy caught it (JUST for a little while, cuz it was semi-hurt and needed a rest) so me and Sis could see it. It was so cute. He promptly let it go after we saw it though, and it happily flitted away. :) I forgot what Sis said the name of it was. She's a bird expert, NO LIE, lol. Seriously, she can hear a bird's song, or see their markings and tell you the name of it is. She studied this bird book Gramma had when she was little, plus she researches it online (for the sounds), so she's like a walking bird encyclopedia...hehe. So cool. I wish I could be like that over that stuff!
Daddy and Sis went and got some fresh strawberries from a local farm. We had them in these dessert cups, chopped up in glaze, later on that night. This was ALONG WITH Daddy's mouth-watering BBQ chicken on the grill! Yep, you know summer's on the way when you taste Daddy's grilled BBQ chicken. :) Oh, and he also left some plain strawberries too, w/o the glaze. That way I can curb my sweet cravings during the week...hehe.

Another entry?! This soon?! You betcha! Hard to believe, right?! I must warn ya, it's super long! Sorry 'bout that!
First off, I cannot believe I almost forgot this, but it has been 5 years TODAY since we met the Hardy Boyz (April 4th, 2003)! And it was on a Friday, too!! Yippee!! :D
Daddy, Sis, and I have had tons o' fun these past few days!
In the mail just a few days ago, I got an autographed 60's pic of Davy in reply to the Christmas card I sent! I was leaping for joy! It said, "(My name), love David Jones". I can never get tired of getting that kind of mail!
Let me see...went out for Chinese last Friday. Super good! Oh, and I have become ADDICTED to Burger King's York Peppermint Pies! They are sooooo good, so we stopped by there and I got some pie, plus Daddy and Sis got some shakes (she also got a Hershey's pie to try for later).
On Sat., we went to that really nice mall about an hour from our house. Sis was gonna go on her b-day weekend, but stuff happened, so we did it this past weekend instead.
When we got there, there was this HOT guy in the parking garage. Kinda looked like James Augustine, although I'm not attracted to James in that way (I don't think he's ugly or anything, just average, ya know?). I only caught a glimpse of the guy, but from what I saw...WHAMMY!
I can't begin to name ALL the stores we went to, but the first one we went to (Sharper Image) had these really awesome light sabers in them, including Anakin's (which Sis tells me is really hard to find!)! So that was awesome. Sis and I were really "Duked out" and we got alot of comments about it (ALL positive, which isn't always the case!)! This man in Sharper Image said it was good to see some Dukies, and a woman who worked at Sephora said something like, "Yay, go Duke!" and that she had graduated from there, or her husband did. She asked if we WENT there, and we said no. Sis made sure to add that she wanted to, though!
A kinda quirky dude made a comment when we went in Macy's. He was nice enough, but it's like he was trying a little too hard to make conversation. Like he was just trying to come up with stuff to say. First, he too asked if we went there! It's pretty darn cool that ppl mistake us for students, let me tell ya...haha. Sis had on her Duke #4 shirt, of course, and he said something like, "I thought you would've had on the number of..." and from this point, he didn't have a clue as to who he was referring to. We named off all these diff. players, and the man was like, "He's a forward," or something like that.
Finally, we arrived at Demarcus, and he was like, "That's him!" Of course, Demarcus is a guard, but at that point we were just naming off players, regardless of position. So as we walked away, we 3 came to the conclusion the guy had NO CLUE about Duke b-ball. I mean, he could be just a casual fan who don't know the players' positions (heck, I don't know them ALL by heart!). I dunno what the deal was, but hey, at least he had nice things to say, regardless of how confused he seemed to be, lol.
We came upon Cheesecake Factory, and a man outside of there was a Dukie too! He was attending a convention, and was from outta town. He was super nice, and him and Daddy had a nice convo, b/c the man belonged to a group that my grandpa (Daddy's dad) used to belong to! It's a national thing, so the man didn't know my grandpa or anything like that. But it was a neat encounter. It would be so nice if more ppl in the world were like that man. So easy-going, so friendly, and he didn't know us from Adam.
We would've actually ATE at Cheesecake Factory, but we weren't wild about the hour and a half wait...lol. So, we stopped inside Claire's (me and Sis), while Daddy sat outside. There was a buy 2, get 1 pair free earrings sale! Sis got two really pretty dangly pairs of blue and silver earrings, and I got a cute pair of monkey earrings. I have become borderline obsessed lately with all things monkEY-related (in addition to being MonkEE-obsessed...haha). This is mainly thanks to Curious George, hehe. Back in the day, I would get alot of monkEY stuff b/c it reminded me of the MonkeES. But now, there's an additional factor...all cuz of the CG movie. He is just so adorable! Like Davy, 'cept in an "awwwww" way instead of "RAAAAWR!" Haha!
I can't remember all the Duke comments, but I sure wish I could! Oh, and we stopped in some prom dress stores, and I saw some CJS socks in one!
( After the mall, the last couple o' days, and mucho más!! )

Been a busy bee lately (haha), hence why there hasn't been an entry 'til now. Soooo...here's what's up!
First off, I added quite a bit o'stuff to my user info, in case you wanna check it out. I did it about a week ago, possibly longer, but since I'm just getting around to posting, I'm just getting around to telling about it...lol.
Had a relaxed, awesome Easter with my family! Daddy cooked BBQ chicken on the grill, and it was DELICIOUS! We went to see Drillbit Taylor later on, which was hilarious!
Also over the weekend, we celebrated Sis turning THE BIG 1-8!! We went to Texas Steakhouse. It was really good! Went over to Mama's for a bit, and Sis attempted to get some really cute stray cats to come to her, with no such luck. Sis and I also had some giggles over some funny noises involving the steps and some decorations, hehe. Stopped at Wal-mart for some stuff Daddy needed to fix something. Daddy got Sis a cuuuuuute Shrek cake, complete with Shrek (of course), Donkey, Puss in Boots, and a little castle backdrop. It was so pretty! And yummy! As for her presents, she got a DX poster, Spongebob stickers, a Simba light-up pen, a tiger notebook, the Enchanted DVD, and a Duke coat...all from me and Daddy.
Mama gave her 18 dollars and a Duke license plate. THEN, when we got back in for the night, Daddy's got ANOTHER surprise in store for Sis. He tells her to go over to another part of the room and get a "little something extra" that he thought she might like. She discovers (what looks like) a bag, and he tells her it's a type of bookbag. I know all about what's in store, and I say, "Yeah, it's like a messenger bag! You can even put decals on it and stuff!" THEN, from beside his chair, Daddy grabs another box and is like, "But you may wanna put this in it first!" Inside the box was A LAPTOP! Sis was thrilled!! The "bookbag" was, of course, a laptop case...hehe.
Y'see, a few weeks ago, Daddy was working on a friend's (he's the one with the place at the beach we went to in Sept.) laptop, and Sis and I both got kinda hooked on playing around with it...hehe. So that's how Daddy was inspired to give one to Sis. It was an awesome time! A fun night for all!
I slept in (waaaaaaay in, lol) Sat. and got some much needed zzzz's. So the next few bits are based on what Sis and Daddy told me later. They went out and about to run some errands and such. They went to the grocery store, then went by this man who used to keep lions' house...yes, lions! The 3 of us went by there a couple of weeks or so ago, but my uncle later informed Daddy and Sis (on Sat.) that he no longer has them. Anyway, as Daddy and Sis were riding along, they had a little mishap. They got a flat tire! Luckily, they got in touch with this nice farmer who pumped some air into the spare that Daddy had (it was low!). In no time at all, they were off and riding again!
They went to my uncle's gun shop after that. A man came in there that Daddy used to go to school with, and my uncle knew him pretty well. Sis told me that my uncle addressed him in pretty comical ways, and that, based on what Daddy told her later, he used to be sort of a former hippie! Sis also told me that my uncle had some old west-looking guns in the shop...and some not-so-average "decorations"! Oh, and he had some authentic Indian jewelry too, which I'd definitely love to check out some time! There was also this funny long-running joke involving my aunt that cropped up in conversation with my dad, uncle, and my aunt (over the phone)...hehe. So Daddy and Sis had a pretty busy, yet fun (in spite of the tire) afternoon! And so did I, cuz I really needed that sleep...lol.
( Thoughts about Duke, wrestling-related happenings, hot pics, and more! )

Once again, 'tis one of those meme/survey posts. But I do have some stuff I wanna talk about when I have more time! So a real update is coming!
For now, here be the meme/surveyness!
From
thefridayfive:
1. What song would you sing to your newborn child? (OR if you already had a child, which song did you sing to him/her?) Hmmm, well IF I have kids...Jesus Loves Me, Not While I'm Around, Daydream Believer (or practically any slow Monkees song, hehe), and Hushabye (Beach Boys).
2. How do you think animals think? (i.e. in animal language, human language, etc.) You know, I have no clue. I wish I knew though! If I were gonna guess, I'd say they have their own special language.
3. As a child, did you have a dream to make a difference in the world? Can you describe your dream? Well, I dunno about that, but I did have phases where I wanted to be a teacher and an opthamologist.
4. Do you believe in God/a Higher Being? Yes!
5. Do you believe in aliens? I think it's possible there's something out there.
( More memes/surveys! )
